What the app collects, and why
Everything below is linked to your seat, because the app only works for a signed-in seat. Nothing is used for tracking.

Not collected
- Your name (the company roster holds it; the app never asks for it)
- Your phone's contacts (attendee lists come from the company roster and CRM, never from your address book)
- Crash data through a third-party SDK (none is linked)
- Browsing or search history, purchases, advertising identifiers
- Anything used for tracking: no advertising SDK, no cross-app identifiers, no tracking domains
Who this policy covers
The Jackie app is an internal tool for the staff and authorised partners of Pioneer Research Group, LLC (2010 Main Street, Suite 250, Irvine, CA 92614). It is distributed by invitation only. This policy explains what the app collects from the person using it, how that information is used, who can see it, how long it is kept, and how to have it corrected or deleted.
The app is not a patient portal and does not collect information from patients or study participants directly. Where health information is handled in the course of clinical care or research, that handling is governed by HIPAA, by 42 CFR Part 2 where it applies, and by the study's consent and ethics-board approvals; those protections are described in the relevant study documents, not here.
Who can see it
Information the app sends is stored in the company's own systems and is visible only to the seats whose role allows it (for example, a recording is visible to its recorder and to the colleagues it was shared with). The company's service providers process it under written agreements: cloud hosting and database services, transcription and language-model providers under business associate agreements, and email delivery for notifications. No information is sold, and none is shared with advertisers or data brokers.
How long we keep it
Usage, performance and diagnostic events are deleted after 90 days. Recordings, transcripts and files are business records and are kept for as long as the matter they belong to requires, subject to the company's retention schedule and legal holds. Location fixes are resolved to a site and the raw fix is not retained as a track. Device registrations are removed when a device is revoked.
Your choices
Microphone, speech recognition, location, camera, photo library and Bluetooth access are each requested when first needed and can be withdrawn at any time in iOS Settings; the corresponding features stop working, the rest of the app does not. Sign out is per device. You can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of information about you by writing to the address below; requests are handled by the company's owner seat and confirmed in writing. Deleting a recording the company must keep as a business record may be limited by that obligation, and you will be told so.
Children
The app is for adult staff and partners and is not directed to children under 16.
Changes
Changes are posted here with a new effective date, and the app's Settings screen links to this page. A change that adds a new kind of information collected is made in the app, in this policy, and in the App Store listing at the same time.
